Define what you need.
Use your production, consumption and equipment data for preliminary calculations. Add the results and your technical requirements to a quotation request.
Grinding media requirement
Calculate period demand from your production plan and measured specific consumption.
Production × hours/day × days × specific consumption = kg of grinding media
For technical assessment
- Mill type, dimensions and wet or dry grinding
- Current ball size distribution and target particle size
- Feed material and measured current consumption
View and copy the calculation summary
This tool does not recommend a consumption rate or ball diameter. Initial charge, in-circuit ball inventory and wear distribution are outside its scope.
Additive consumption and period demand
Apply your mass-based dosage to your production plan and view both hourly consumption and total demand.
t/h × 1,000 × dosage / 100 = kg/h; kg/h × hours/day × days = kg
For technical assessment
- Cement type, clinker/additive composition and fineness
- Dosage basis: commercial product or active ingredient
- Existing trial results and TDS/SDS requirements
View and copy the calculation summary
This tool does not select a dosage or predict performance. State whether the dosage is based on commercial product mass or active ingredient. Density is required to convert mass to litres.
Liner and spare part order planning
Plan your order using the number of parts, mass per part and your chosen spare allowance.
Quantity × kg/piece × (1 + spare allowance / 100) = theoretical mass in kg
For technical assessment
- Part drawings, dimensions and mounting holes
- Existing material and damage/wear photographs
- Part location, installation sequence and mass per part

Fractional spare quantities are rounded up to whole parts for ordering. This calculation does not estimate mass from drawings or predict wear life. Connections, geometry and material selection require separate assessment.
Lubricant stock and purchasing requirement
Calculate net purchasing requirements from daily consumption, your planning period and available stock.
Net requirement = max [0; kg/day × days × (1 + reserve / 100) − stock]
For technical assessment
- Equipment, lubrication point and current lubricant
- Operating temperature, load and environmental conditions
- Product/pack size preference and replenishment period
View and copy the calculation summary
This tool does not select lubricant type, viscosity, mixing compatibility or lubrication intervals. Do not combine stocks of different products in one calculation.
Preliminary flow area calculation
Calculate cross-sectional area from the actual operating flow rate and the superficial velocity you specify.
A = Q / (3,600 × v); equivalent circular diameter = √(4 × A / π)
For technical assessment
- Actual or normal flow basis, operating pressure and temperature
- Gas and liquid properties, liquid loading and target droplet size
- Vessel diameter, existing internals and allowable pressure drop

This is a preliminary geometric calculation, not equipment selection or a separation performance prediction. Liquid loading, densities, surface tension, flooding limits, support area and pressure drop require separate assessment.
Preliminary static torque calculation
Calculate static torque from force and its perpendicular moment arm, then apply your chosen multiplier separately.
Static torque = force × perpendicular moment arm; adjusted torque = static torque × multiplier
For technical assessment
- Load case, moment arm, speed and transmission details
- Inertia, stopping time and duty cycle
- Mounting dimensions, braking torque and safety functions

This is not a dynamic brake selection or safety approval. Inertia, stopping time, speed, duty cycle, thermal capacity, transmission ratios and safety functions are not included. Do not select a brake model from this result alone.
